Run 2 Read is a cross country event, a fun run (walk)  that takes place on cool shady trails at Stony Creek metropark, not hot roads.  This means the terrain will be more like a hike and not a full run.  We want you to have fun and enjoy the view! 

Stony Creek is the perfect, picturesque setting for our event. It is symbolically significant; that is, the park crosses county lines, just as literacy does. In working together, we can effect greater change through partnerships.

We need your help--please consider registering as a participant to support Macomb Literacy Partners and Oakland Literacy Council. Your financial support will enable our programs to continue to offer one-on-one free tutoring to adults who have low literacy skills. We encourage you to spread the word about Run 2 Read to your co-workers, family and friends.
