The Escape from Folsom 10 Mile Trail Run starts along the shore of Folsom Lake and after a short section on pavement begins climbing the small hills of the shoreline for an out and back course that veers once to a scenic point along the lake and returns up some short but steep hills, with aid stations spread evenly along the course. There is a climb up Mooney Ridge on the way back to the finish line.
Aid stations will be located on the course at miles 1, 2.5, 3.5, 5, 7.5, and 9 each serving cold water, Electrolyte beverage, and CLIF Shot energy gels and Bloks.

east to Douglas Blvd.
From Reno take Interstate 80 west to
Douglas Blvd.
Granite Bay
State Park on Folsom lake is located at the end of Douglas Blvd, 5-6 miles East
of I-80. Turn right at the third stop sign after entering the park for the
Granite Beach parking lot. There is a $10 vehicle charge for day-use or $125
for an annual pass.
