Description

Date: Saturday, April 20th, 2013    Location: Adams Homestead & Nature Preserve Trail, 272 Westshore Dr., McCook, SD

Pre-Race Registration: Packet pickup prior to event will be available at Siouxland Community Health Center on Friday, February 1st from 8am-6pm. To pick up packets, go to the main entrance at 1021 Nebraska Street. Registration is also available on-line at slandchc.com. Please complete one form per person. Photocopies allowed. Send completed registration form to:

 

Race Day Check-In: 7:00 am at  Adams Homestead & Nature Preserve Shelter   

Race Times: 9:00 am for 1K Childrens Race

    10:00 am for 5K Run/Walk

Entry Fees: Adult 5K Run/Fun Walk: $25

    Childrens 1K Run/Walk: $10

Incentives: Free t-shirts for participants if registered by early deadline and awards for top 3 overall male and female brackets. Participation awards for 1K  Childrens Race participants.

Course Info

Adams Homestead & Nature Preserve Trail: I-29 north into South Dakota, take McCook Lake exit (#3), turn west on North Shore Drive and follow signs to Nature Preserve (just pass Dakota Valley High School). Lake loop 4.6 miles and River loop 6.0 miles. Map is available at trail head. Terrain is flat and trail is crushed rock.
