Brief Description

This 5k and 10k race will challenge you while you run through the gorgeous trails at New Germany State Park. Runners begin the race with a challenging uphill run spanning a half mile! Over the next 2.5 miles runners begin this slow descent back to the Finish! If you dare, get ready for that challenging uphill climb on lap 2 with the 10k.

Directions to Parking

Parking Lot is off of the main road into New Germany State Park near the Start/Finish Line for both races.

Timing

The race will be timed by Race Packet!

Packet Pickup

Pre-race meetings will begin around 8:45 near the Start/Finish Line. As of now, there will ONLY be packet pickup on the morning of the event, plan to arrive NO LATER than 8:15-8:30am FOR THE 10K. Plan to arrive around 9:15am for the 5K PACKET PICKUP. If packet pick-up is available the day before the race, an email will be sent to all REGISTERED racers to inform them of this.

Race Day Registration

There will be race day registration. Participants will need to arrive at 8:00am to get registered for the event. T-shirts sizes can not be guaranteed for race day registers. CASH OR CHECK ONLY (checks made out to Bishops Events).

Competitors

Ages 10 through 100 can compete in this event.

Awards

Awards categories determined closer to race day. Awards will be handed out after the race near the Start/Finish Line.

Refunds

*No Refunds after September 1, 2013

Additional Information

Come out and make this a weekend get-away and sign up for either the 5k & Duathlon or the 10k & Duathlon. All racers who compete in the duathlon on Saturday AND the 5k or 10k on Sunday will earn a medal! The New Germany hill will become famous for this tough ascent, but the scenic course will surely be a lasting memory!
