- Project Graduation 5K run/walk:- Run 3.1 Miles
Project Graduation is a safe all-night post-graduation celebration that was started in 1979 in Maine after the Oxford Hills community experienced a tragic seven teen deaths during commencement season. The event has spread to all 50 states providing safe and fun filled post-graduation activities that last all night in a lock-in drug and alcohol free environment.
Course will be a combination of street, cross-country, and high school track.
From Gate on the South side of high school on Wise Street head
East, North on Broadway, East on Bishop St. to Alley (turning North on Alley ).
Turn West on Pennell to Broadway. Turn
South on Broadway. Turn East on Wells to 5th Street (Bus Barn Rd. to
turn into 6th grade parking lot).
Head back North through parking lot and behind schools to Verbryck
Ave. West on Wise St, circling around
baseball field and returning to high school track for one full lap.
This is the first year :)
