2013 5K for Brighter Dawns:

Brighter Dawns is a Wesleyan-founded nonprofit organization that works to combat health disparities in the slums of Khalishpur Bangladesh.
Through preventative care, health education, and infrastructure, Brighter Dawns works to provide a lasting and sustainable impact and improve the health of this underserved community for years to come.
Focusing particularly on water-related issues - which are prevalent in this area where clean water is a rare commodity and water-borne diseases are rampant - Brighter Dawns works on the ground in Bangladesh with all members of the community to create progress collaboratively.
Wesleyan University is home to the founding chapter of Brighter Dawns, which eagerly works to spread awareness, raise funds, and increase involvement about the cause.
