Description
Come join in the fun at the 2013 5K Splash Dash! The race will be held at Kit Carson Park in Escondido. There will be splash zones throughout the course to help racers cool off. This event will be a timed and the top three finishers in each age bracket will receive a medal. All participants will receive a t-shirt but you must preregister to get your shirt on the day of the race! This event costs $25 and is open to the community. There will also be a free 1/2 mile kids fun run. This is a family friendly event so please invite your friends and neighbors to participate in the fun!
Course Info
The course consists of a combination of sidewalks and trails throughout beautiful Kit Carson Park. There are moderate elevation changes on the trail section of the course. There will be splash zones where you may get shot with water so be prepared to get wet!
Other Info
All proceeds from the event will benefit local Boy Scout Troop 655.
