AIDS Walk
The event serves as a day to remember those we have lost to the disease with prominent speakers and panels of the AIDS Memorial Quilt. The Celebration of Life Festival includes live music, a beer garden, volleyball tournament, a Diva Dash 0.5K fun run, food, beverages, and more!
AIDS Walk Colorado and the 5K Run follow the same 3.1 mile route, starting and ending in Cheesman Park and meandering into Denvers Capitol Hill neighborhood on streets such as Humboldt, Marion, 7th & 8th Ave. The walk route takes approximately 45 minutes to complete.

Cheesman Park. Cheesman Park is located between 8th Ave. & 13th Ave., and between Race St. &
Humboldt St. The main stage is located near the 12th Ave. and Humboldt St. entrance on the west side of Cheesman Park.
A: Many people who attend AIDS Walk Colorado want to make a difference in the fight against AIDS in our community but have never fundraised before or maybe dont know how to begin fundraising. The Red Ribbon Challenge is a way for everyone to participate in fundraising efforts by setting a simple goal of raising $100 in an easy-to-do, 3-step process that can be done in one day!
1. Donate $20 to yourself
2. Ask 2 people you know to donate $20 each to your challenge
3. Ask 4 people you know to donate $10 each to your challenge
Its a challenge to get everyone you know to support what you believe in; its making a commitment to fighting AIDS in our community; its easy to do; and its fun! More information is available on the AIDS Walk Colorado website under Get Involved. Please join the challenge and commit to raising at least $100 for this years event.
