The Run to Fight Childrens Cancer is an annual community event that strives to raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer. Hosted by Grand Canyon University, the run features a 5K run, a 1 Mile Family Fun Run and a special Cancer Survivors Walk. Aside from the races, this family friendly event also offers a post-race festival that includes jump castles, face painting, arts & crafts and more! To date, the Run to Fight Childrens Cancer has raised over $170,000 for the cause. Funds directly benefit nonprofit organizations dedicated to helping children and families dealing with the terrible disease. The run has now expanded to San Diego and will benefit the Ronan Thompson Foundation as well as Maxs Ring of Fire.
