Hey Joggers & Runners!
The Beach Weeks Sundae 5K Beach Run takes place Saturday, June 29th in New Smyrna Beach. It is a 5K walk/run followed by a make-your-own ice cream sundae bar! The registration and start/stop location is at the Flagler Avenue beach approach at the Boardwalk.
Early registration for the run is available at beachweeks.com (click 5K tab) or directly at http://www.raceit.com/search/event.aspx?id=21591. Entries will also be accepted at the event.
Pre-registered packet pick-up and in-person registration opens at 6:30 on the morning of the race. Race start is 7:30am.
The chip timed race offers over 80 medals in various age and gender categories, free t-shirt and sundae ticket. Entry is $25 for pre-registration and $30 for in-person registration.
Proceeds benefit Black Crow/Southern Stone Charities, which provides direct mini-grants to non-profit groups in the greater Volusia County area.
