The Firemans Family Funds mission is to provide financial support to our Fireman Families in need do to devastating or catastrophic events or crisis.

Where: Starting at the Felton Community Fire Co, 9 E Main St, Felton DE. Run through the beautiful historic town of Felton. The town of Felton was laid out in 1856 when the Delaware Railroad reached this area. Owing its existence to the railroad, Felton was named in honor of Samuel M. Felton, President of the Philadelphia, Wilmington and Baltimore Railroad and a major force in bringing railroad service to central and southern Delaware. Incorporated on February 2, 1861, Felton is located near the geographical center of Delaware. A marker lies just east of town off route 12 marking the center point of the state.
Registration: $20 until Sept 20; $25 after and on race day. Registration starts at 7am. Awards: Awards to overall male/female and masters runners, top 3 male/female runners in categories 10 & Under through 70 & over in 10 year age groups and top 3 male/female walk finishers.
Amenities: T-shirts guaranteed to pre-registered runners/walkers only, all others will be first come first serve until gone. Post race festivities include free food and beverages to participants only. Guest are asked to make a $5 donation. Tickets for guests will be available at registration. Water/Gatorade stop available on the course. Complete results will be posted at the post festivities. Leftover T-shirts will be available for purchase on event day.
Benefits: The Felton Community Fire Co Firemans Family Fund 2013 Beneficiary is the family of Firefighter Harry Brown who lost his beloved wife Melissa Cobb Brown to Cancer. Melissa was a RN at Bayhealth Kent General Hospital in Dover De. Harry and Melissa have one small child, a son, Phillip Brown.
