2010 Powerman Muncie Duathlon

  • The Powerman Muncie Duathlons will be held on Oct. 2, 2010 and will feature an awesome 3-lap 60k bike course for the 1st Powerman Muncie duathlons held at Prairie Creek Reservior in Muncie, Indiana.
  • The home of multi-sport events since 1980, this is one of the best venues in the country and features a parking and transition area adjoining, rolling hills, family park area and great racing

     If this is your first race or a seasoned vet, Muncie Multi-Sport hopes you and your family enjoy the events at PCR as we have for many years. MMS events will have: Certified race distances, prayer and National Antheum before the event, USAT sanctioned, Chip timing for faster awards and a family friendly atmosphere in a park setting

    Duathlon Event Distances:

    Powerman Muncie Long Course Duathlon: 10k run/60k bike/10k run,
    Du Sprint: 5k run/20k bike/5k run-1 lap on bike
    Du Double: 10k run/40k bike/10k run- 2 laps on bike

    Running Event Distances:

    5K: 5k individual run-out and back
    10K: 10k individual run-out and back

     

    Course description

    The Powerman course features a perfect 20k bike course loop 3 times and a hard 5k/10k out and back on rolling hills and a nice hard finish-twice!

     

    Sept 27th registration closed field limitis 800!

    We will not accept registration after Sept 27 or the first 800 in!

    Who is Muncie Multi-Sport, Inc.

    We are multi-sport athlete's just like you. From our first tri in 1992 or 2000 to Powerman Alabama (3), the Muncie Endurathon(6), Ironman Florida (1) and all distanes of triathlon and road racing up to the marathon, we know the joy and pain. We also have brought you the 1996 ITU LC Worlds and 2002 USAT LC Nationals as well.
