Description
The Indian River County Sheriff's Office Explorer Post is hosting a 5k Fun Run to raise money to support the Shop with a Cop program. Shop with a Cop takes need-based children from the community to a local store for an evening of shopping in a safe environment. Each child is paired up with a law enforcement officer and given a gift card to purchase holiday gifts they may otherwise not receive.
Course Info
The event will be held in the beautiful Pointe West neighborhood. There will be two water stations along the route. The course is measured and timed by Runner's Depot of Vero Beach.
Directions
From I-95: Get off at exit 147 (Vero Beach/Lake Wales exit) and go east on state road 60. Turn right on Pointe West Drive. You will see the pavilion.
