This course is run right on the border of the national park, in the Kaibab National Forest immediately west of Tusayan, AZ. From the starting line, you can drive approximately 5 minutes to the edge of the canyon. The course begins at the new parking lot at North end of Tusayan, AZ right outside the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.
Course Info
The road is all dirt, except the last mile. Some might call it a trail run, but really its still a road. We tend to think of trail runs as a single track trail that is exclusively for walking/running. Depending on your definition, you may consider it a trail run. To us its kind of a hybrid. To everyone it will be fun and beautiful.

Runners will head North on the new Grand Canyon Greenway path until Fire Road 800 and then run the next 11 miles on forest service road. See below:
