Description

2014 BEST Kids 5K:

It is that time a year again to break out those running shoes and dig out your favorite superhero costume for our 2nd Annual BEST Kids 5k & Fun Run. Join BEST Kids for this years event to support youth in DCs child welfare system served by the BEST Kids Mentoring Program. Runners, walkers, and strollers are welcome!

Timed and certified by Race DC Timing/3.1 mile race out-and-back along the Anacostia River

Directions

The start/finish area will be at the northern end of the park adjacent to the Skating Pavilion. Driving directions and a park map are available at the Anacostia Park website.

Other Info

Proceeds from this event will support mentoring programs for DC's foster youth
