In February 2011 Grace Petroff was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor on her motor cortex. She suffered through chemotherapy and radiation to give her the best chance of beating the cancer. The journey was difficult, but she pushed through the pain and suffering. Now, two years later, Grace is cancer free!
Last year, Grace held the first Graces Race, and what a success it was! We had over 750 runners and donated $44,000 to pediatric cancer research! We could not have done it without your help! Because of this success, Grace has decided to make this an annual event. Money raised will go to The Morgan Adams Foundation, which gives grants to Graces doctor, Dr. Nicholas Foreman at Childrens Hospital Colorado. Ten years ago, others donated money to Graces doctors research, which led to the research that saved Graces life. Now, Grace with the help of The Morgan Adams Foundation, would like to pay it forward by raising money to further pediatric cancer research and save the lives of other children living with cancer.
Graces Race is set for April 27, 2014 at 10:00 at Cherry Creek High School. Please save the date, and join Grace and The Morgan Adams Foundation in raising money to support a cure for other kids like Grace. To register your family or make a donation, go to:
We are so thankful for our family, friends and the surrounding community! This was the most difficult journey of our lives, and we would like to continue to give back to the doctors and researchers who saved Graces life!
