Give Kids The World Gingerbread Run 5K presented by Aarons is an annual event that celebrates the joys of childhood and inspires hope for families who need it most. The Gingerbread Run is a 5K, professionally timed race that can be walked, run or strolled. The race winds through the 70-acre whimsical Give Kids The World Village, past snoring trees, magic castles and the worlds largest CANDYLAND game. The Gingerbread Run 5K presented by Aarons is also one of the rare opportunities where the public gets to visit the Give Kids The World Village. Give Kids The World is a non-profit organization that provides children with life-threatening illnesses and their families with a week-long, cost-free vacation to Central Florida.
Course Info
The event is unique because of where it takes
place. Give Kids The World is not open to the general public, so its a rare
opportunity for the general public to come to our storybook village and meet
our wish families. We also have a limited capacity at the Village, so we
encourage participants to sign up now before we meet our capacity of
approximately 2000. We also encourage people to form teams and fundraise. Our top 5 Teams that raise the most money
will be awarded their own tents at the event, with their team sign, goodies in
their tent and special recognition.
