- The great thing about the sport of running is the camaraderie among runners. In a typical race the faster runner (Hare) arrives long before the middle/back of the pack and the slower runner (Tortoise) arrives as the party is ending. How about a race where everyone finishes (approximately) at the same time?! Introducingthe TORTOISE and the HARE HALF MARATHON!

Course Info

The course consists of mostly rolling hills with intermediate inclines. The terrain is relatively smooth, with some occasional rocks and roots, but easy enough for even beginning trail runners. So yes, this trail is recommended for runners of all abilities, whether your are a Tortoise or Hare! The course will be well marked with colored ribbon as well as signs and volunteers at critical turning points on the trail.
