Springfield Marathon...
- Springfield Marathon:- Run 26.2 Miles
2nd Annual Springfield Marathon, Half-Marathon, 10K and 4 person Marathon Relay on Sunday October 19th, 2014.
A beautiful, scenic run of the UIS Campus, Lake Springfield area and the country roads SE of Lake Springfield. You'll see the beautiful fall foliage around the lake and friendly faces of hundreds of volunteers during your run. You'll receive a one of kind finisher medal, high tech shirt, food and post race party at Mowie's Cue.
Packet pick up and Expo is Saturday October 18th from Noon to 7pm in the TRAC building (REC Bldg on some maps) at UIS.

Start time - Be on the start line on University Dr. just south of the TRAC Building on the UIS Campus- 15 minutes before start of the race.
Wheelchair start is 7:20am
Marathon, Marathon Relay and Half Marathon start 7:30am
10K start at 8am.
Expo and Packet Pickup - Saturday afternoon from Noon to 7pm on October 18th in the TRAC building (REC Bldg on some maps) on the UIS Campus- enter from the south side.

FINISH LINE Opportunities
Get print outs of your race results at our Race Kiosk in the finishing arena. 2014 we'll have voluteers there to help you.
Food and drinks available to all finishers.
Michelob Ultra will be served at Mowie's Cue after the race. A special low cost buffet will be set up.
We have an on site DJ at the finishing arena and WNNS and Alice Radio broadcasted live from the finish line.
Awards ceremony for top three male and female finishers of all events. Top age bracket finishers can pick up their award at the Awards Tent once those results are known.
First Aid services provided by Athleticare and positioned along the course and at the finish line.
