• CreatiVets 5k:- Run 3.1 Miles

The race will be held on May 24th beginning at 9 A.M. with day-of registration from 7 A.M. until 8:30 A.M. We will provide water and snack after the race. We will also have a beer truck and be cooking for anyone who wants to stick around and eat or have a drink. This course will go around the Mackinaw River (enter through the back entrance). CreatiVets is a non-profit organization. CreatiVets mission is to provide disabled veterans with the opportunity to use art therapy, music, and creative writing to address the psychological and emotional needs that arise from combat-related trauma. Our goal is to provide artistic resources and accessible space to veterans in order to foster self-expression, enhance coping skills, manage stress, and strengthen their sense of self through the healing power of music, writing and visual art.
