• Full Moon 5k for Colon Cancer:- Run 3.1 Miles

Our mission is to raise awareness and encourage people to get checked even before the recommended age of 50 (especially if you have a family history!). This disease is one of the mot PREVENTABLE, TREATABLE, and BEATABLE. The CDC found that 60% of colon cancer cases would've been prevented if the person got checked.

We are partnering with the Longmont United Hospital Foundation as a 501(c)3 (so your donations are tax deductible!). The funds raised so far has made possible the first ever Colon Cancer Support group in Northern Colorado!

Race Location: McIntosh Lake on Harvard St. in Longmont, CO. Get there early so you don't have trouble finding parking!!

 What you should expect with your packet:

• Tech T-shirt (guaranteed sizes for those who register by 7/31)
• Race Bib (this attaches to the front of your shirt with safety pins we provide ask us if you need help!)
• Timing Chip (this attaches to your shoe, ask us if you need help! When you are done with the 5k, there will be volunteers there to take the chip from you if you dont give it back, the timing company will charge you.)

• Info Sheet (if you need one for that day)
