Do you want to race in Tucson's NEWEST 5-kilometer run/walk?  Do you want to feel faster than a Wildcat?  And do you want to have a great time doing both of these things?  Then come out to Reid Park for the "Cat Me if You Can" fundraiser race, hosted by the University of Arizona Triathlon Team.

What is it?

The "Cat Me If You Can" is an 5 kilometer run/walk that supports the University of Arizona TriCats and the Challenged Athletes Foundation.

What should I expect for in this race?

The TriCats "Cat Me If You Can" is more than just 5 kilometers of running.  We are proud to annouce that this year, the event is sanctioned by USA Track & Field!  We have aid stations at miles 1 & 2 on the course, as well as having plenty of post-race food and beverage for when you finish. Results will be accurate and posted in a timely manner so you can check to see if you have a new Personal Best.
Course Info
The event will be located at Reid Park.  More specifically, the event will start and end near the parking lot at the corner of Country Club and 22nd Street.  The race will be located on the running path around Reid Park.

The race will begin at 8 am. We will release more information on what wave you are in closer to the date of the event. As a rule of thumb, plan to get there at 7:00 so you have ample time to check-in, preview the course, and get warmed up. Here is a tentative schedule:

7:00 - Registration and Check-in begins (all participants must bring the waiver below; parents/guardians must sign for participants under the age of 18)
8:00 - Race begins
9:00 - Awards
9:15 - Raffle for Challenged Athlete's Foundation
9:30 - Course closes

What do I get with my entry fee?

Your entry fee goes towards the production of a well-run race, a pair of TriCats race socks (socks are limited to the first 120 participants to pick up their packets on race day), post-race food, and a goody bag.
