9th Annual ORC Race Into Summer 5K
- ORC Race Into Summer 5K:- Run 3.1 Miles
Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 14th, to participate in the ORC 9th Annual Race Into Summer 5K at Jay Blanchard Park on Dean Road in Orlando. All proceeds to benefit the Orlando Runners Club and the ORC Urayasu Exchange Program Fund.
The 5K race starts at 7:30 am. The course is an out and back along the paved trail in the park that runs along the Little Econ River. The Kids' Fun Run starts at 8:30 am and is free to all children. The Awards Presentation starts at 8:45 am. Awards will be given to the top three male and female overall finishers, and three deep in each age group. (10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+) All 5K participants will receive a tech shirt and be eligible for prizes (must be present to win). Refreshments will be provided after the race.
Registration is now open. You can register online or download a registration form at RunSignUp. Registration is limited to 350. Register early to guarantee your entry. Entry fees are non-refundable. Fees before June 6 - ORC Members $20, Non-Members $25. Fees June 7 - June 13 - $28. Students 18 & under - $10
Limited race day registration. Race Day Fees - $30, Students $15. Shirt size are not guaranteed for day of race registration.
Join us for a post-race party beginning at 9:30 am at Mellow Mushroom, located at 11680 E. Colonial Drive in Orlando, near the intersection of Alafaya and Colonial. All runners and volunteers will receive one free beverage/beer and the Club will provide pizzas.
