The Speedy PD 5K/10K and 1/2 Mile Family Fun Run is an event to benefit the Meadowlark Hills Parkinson Fund. The Meadowlark Parkinson Fund helps support services for the community to improve the quality of life for all those affected by Parkinson's disease including patients, caregivers, therapists and nurses. With this fund, Meadowlark is able to continue and expand opportunities for education, outreach, scholarships for medical purposeds, medical care and a future Parkinson's resource center for  the Kansas Region.

This year you may also compete as a team! Create a "Team" and run together! Teams of 4 or more will be eligible to win "Best Costume, Fastest Team, Most Donations Raised, or VIPd Enthusiast". Win one category or win them all - your imagination is the limit!

Join us at Race Headquarters after the race for the very best Expo in the area! The Speedy PD has fantastic sponsors, including: FREE Cox Bros BBQ for all participants, fresh fruit from Eastside and Westside Market, Panera bagels, chocolate milk, and Budweiser beer for those of age. Relax in the Body First tent for a massage after the race. Bring the family for a morning of FUN in the photobooth and enjoy other events of KS Outdoor Kids Day after the race!
