The Yellow Brick Road 9k Invites You to Get Creative With Your Running Attire and Come Out to Participate in Lakeland's VERY FIRST Yellow Brick Road 9k Costume Run! Beginning in the open grass beside Lakeland Yacht Club, you will circumscribe beautiful Lake Hollingsworth twice before "Fly, Fly Fly"ing to the finish line to complete your 5.59-mile run. In addition to awards for race winners,awards will also be given to the runner wearing the MOST CREATIVE Wizard of Oz-inspired Costume and the BEST OVERALL Wizard of Oz-Inspired Costume. Grab your friends and your ruby-red running shoes and prepare yourself to enjoy a run all about fun as you follow the "yellow brick road" to your November 2nd finish line victory!
