2010 Waipahu Cane Haul 5K Run/Walk:

  • Aloha! Come and join us for a fun 5K run/walk through historic Waipahu town.
  • Walkers, runners or anyone just looking for some great fun should mark their calendars for the 2nd Annual Waipahu Cane Haul 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, August 22, 2010. This event will take runners and walkers on a scenic route throughout Waipahu town from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and end at historic Hawaii Plantation Village.
  • This drug-free event is sponsored by the Volunteer Resource Center of Hawaii, Waipahu Community Coalition, Waipahu Weed & Seed. For more information about the Waipahu Cane Haul Run, call (808) 397-7750 or e-mail [email protected] .
  • Proceeds from this event will be used to support the Waipahu Community Coalition in providing Drug Free events for families and children in the Waipahu Community.
    • Course Info
  • This event will take runners and walkers on a scenic route throughout Waipahu town from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and end at historic Hawaii Plantation Village.
  • The course begins on Waipahu Street and heads north towards Managers Drive. From there, participants will travel along Hiapo Street and end their journey above the entrance to the Hawaii Plantation Village.

    To download a registration form, visit www.canehaulrun.blogspot.com . All entries will be timed except for babies in strollers.

    Fee for the event: Runners/walkers: $20 per individual entry or $10 per entry for a school group of more than 10 participants or $15 per entry for other group participants registered by August 2, 2010. Those registering between August 3 and August 16, 2010 will be $25 per individual entry and for those who wish to register the day of the event, $30 per individual entry.
