2014 Orlando Marathon, Ultra, Half and 5K:
• Second year of the Marathon, Third year of the 5K.
• This Veterans sponsored event results in all finishers receiving a large, 9 inch marble based trophy, regardless of their completion time.
Course Info
• Course is a series of 2.5 mile loops around scenic Lake Baldwin at the site of the former Navy Training Center in Orlando, Florida.
• Mostly paved path, some cement sidewalk.
• Runners may run along side of the path on dirt.
• Start is at the Majestic Harbor Park, near the Fountain.
• Runners will go through the Veterans Memorial Park and may pay homage to the huge Viet Nam Veterans Memorial among other war memorials.
