10K RUN: Begins at 8:00 a.m. - Sign in at 7:00 a.m. 
5K RUN: Begins at 8:00 a.m. - Sign in at 7:30 a.m. 
5K WALK: begins at 8:15 a.m. - Sign in at 7:30 a.m. 
KIDS OBSTACLE COURSE: Begins at 9:30 a.m. - Sign in & practice trials at 8:30 a.m. 
CANINE COMPANION 5K at 9:30 a.m. - Sign in at 8:30 a.m.

Enjoy the scenic beauty of the Fox River in downtown St. Charles during the 8th Annual Bob Leonard River Run! 
All Events begin and end in Pottawatomie Park Grand Pavilion in St. Charles, IL. 
Party at the Pavilion immediately following last event with live music, great food, and prize drawings valued up to $5,000 (winners need not be present to win). One Raffle Ticket Entry will be issued per each $50 increment ***Prize drawings include TRIPS, GIFT CARDS, ETC…***
Course Info
10K River Run Details
New for 2014, this additional course will challenge you by adding extra length through a scenic park with more rugged terrain. Beginning and finishing in Pottawatomie Park, the 10K crosses the Fox River before heading north into the hills of Timber Trails Park. The 10K Run begins at 9am with sign in starting at 7:00am. Race is chip timed and medals will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female finishers of each age group. Additional prizes awarded to overall 1st place finishers and Best Overall Time winners.
5K River Run Details
Beginning and finishing in Pottawatomie Park, the 5K crosses the Fox River before heading north into the hills of Timber Trails Park. The 5K Run begins at 8am with sign in starting at 7:30am. Race is chip timed and medals will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female finishers of each age group. Additional prizes awarded to 1st place finishers and Best Overall Time winners.
5K River Walk Details
Gather the family for a walk along the Fox River through downtown St. Charles. The journey begins and ends in Pottawatomie Park with a turnaround point in Mount St. Mary Park. The Walk begins at 8:15am with sign in starting at 7:30am. The walk route is separate from the run course. Families are encouraged to participate – strollers are welcome!
Kids Turtle Hurdle Obstacle Course
Boys and girls ages 4 – 5, 6 – 7, 8 – 9, 10 – 11 will be challenged with different obstacles on a course that takes them over, under, around, in and through various challenges to the finish line! Fishing for prizes and t-shirt coloring will keep the kids occupied while waiting their turn after having the opportunity to practice the course before their timed trial run. Awards and prizes will be given for top 3 finishers to practice in each age category for boys and girls. T-shirts and goodie bags given to each participant.

This event is a fundraiser for the River Corridor Foundation of St. Charles, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. The River Corridor Foundation of St. Charles supports and advocates for projects that will enhance the downtown riverfront environment as a destination for cultural, educational, recreational, and economic opportunities that are accessible to all.
