Description
Approximately 12.5 million children are obese. Childhood Obesity has become a leading preventable cause of death and illness in children. Although there has been a decrease in rates in preschoolers there is still work to be done. Our goal is to get several hundreds of area youth and their families and friends to participate in the 5K Run/Walk, and encourage regular physical activity.
