2010 Against the Tide:

1-mile swim, 2-mile kayak, 3-mile walk and 5k run to benefit the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition.

Course Info

Against the Tide is an annual family-friendly fundraising event to benefit the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition.

The event consists of several different activities - 2 one-mile swims - competitive OR recreational, a two-mile kayak, a three-mile recreational walk - and new this year - a 5K fun run.

This is a non-certified 5k run.

Participants can choose to participate in one, two or three events!

Directions

DIRECTIONS: DCRs NICKERSON STATE PARK

From Boston:

- Take Rte. 3 south to the Sagamore Bridge

- Take Rte. 6 to exit 12 in Orleans

- Turn left off the ramp onto Rte. 6A West towards Brewster.

- Continue for about 2 miles. Park Entrance is on left.

MBCC requires that every participant, whether registering as an individual or part of a team, commits to raising the $150 fundraising minimum prior to the event.
