Description
2010 Turkey Trot 5k:
Get prepared for the big turkey day feast by enjoying a beautiful crisp run/walk with your family along Etowah River Walk. Along with the beautiful scenery, runners will appreciate the unique T-shirt and finish line refreshments.
Age group winners will receive a frozen turkey! Run it for the Turkey! Course Info
The course leaves the parking area and turns right onto Milner Road.
Turn right onto Walnut Grove to help thin out the runners before the path. Then onto the Etowah Riverwalk in front of Cartersville Middle School.
This is a fast course with past sub 17 minute winners.

From I-75 take exit 288 and go West on Hwy 113.
Follow Hwy 113 for 2.9 miles through Cartersville until you see McDonalds on your left at Douthit Ferry Road.
Turn Left onto Douthfit Ferry.
Go 1.1 miles and turn right at the four-way stop onto Walnut Grove.
Follow Walnut Grove for 0.4 miles and turn left onto Pine Grove Road and the next left into the Soccer Complex parking lot.
