2010 4K Beetle Stomp:

  • The Town of Frisco is hosting BeetleFest, a zany outdoor event. Join us for a 4K Beetle Stomp when runners have the option to wear their favorite beetle-themed attire to win big.
  • The TimberWorks Lumberjack Show (presented by STIHL) hosts a logging competition which includes axe throwing, underhand chopping, log rolling and carving.
  • There will also beVolkswagen Bug Bash, Bug Petting Zoo, STIHL Chainsaw Bug Jar Contest,Chainsaw Carvers, live music, food and beverages.

  • 4K (2.5 Mile) Run.
  • Runners have the option to wear their favorite beetle-themed attire.

  • This event brings awareness about the pine beetle epidemic.
  • Proceeds support the Dillon Ranger Districts mitigation and preservation efforts.
