Special Kids Special Families will hold its 2nd Annual Octo8k/1k Special Run & Wheelchair Derby on Saturday, October 4th starting at 9am at the University Village Colorado at 5280 N Nevada Avenue in Colorado Springs.  Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are welcome to attend!   All proceeds from the event will benefit SKSF programs for children and adults with developmental disabilities and special needs.  Participants will also be able to enjoy a Business Expo where various companies will be displaying information and offering free services.  The Wheelchair Derby, which will begin at 9:30am, is a special attraction designed for individuals in wheelchairs in which they’ll be guided through a maze like course encouraging them to the finish line for a special prize at the end.   

Don’t miss the early bird registration discount!  Discounted race fees for 8k $30; 1k$20; Derby $10.
