2014 Thompson Turkey Trot 5K:

The Thompson Turkey Trot started in 2008. It is a cross country 5K that incorporates trails, fire roads and disused paved roads through the beautiful West Thompson Lake Recreation area.

The event benefits the TEEG Holiday Food Bank, Thompson Trails, Parks and Playgrounds.

This event will be chip timed.

West Thompson Lake Overlook Shelter:
Thompson, CT:

• Route 395, exit 99
• Turn onto Rte. 200 East.
• Follow to stop sign.
• Turn right onto route 193.
• At stop light continue straight onto West Thompson Road.
• Go over the dam.
• Thompson Dam Overlook Shelter gate will be 1st right after the Army Corps garage parking lot.
• Shelter gate will be 1st right after the Army Corps garage parking lot
