Don we now, our worst apparel... Ugly Sweaters!

Join us as thousands of very merry runners take to the streets of Des Moines for a 5K with a holiday twist. This jolly celebration will unite runners and walkers of all ages in a festive winter wonderland. The event will feature a 3.1-mile fun run with holiday music, hot chocolate aid stations, holiday-themed inflatable decorations and of course, an abundance of ugly sweaters! With registration, participants will receive a custom knit vintage hat, and those who are over 21 will also receive a free Sam Adams Boston or Winter Lagers or Angry Orchard Hard Cider.

This year, The Ugly Sweater run is partnering with Save the Children. Funds raised during registration will benefit Save The Children's "Make the World Better with a Sweater" holiday campaign to give children living in poverty in America and around the world a brighter future.

The Price to participate in the Ugly Sweater Run is $35 per person, and kids under the age of 5 can participate for free. We’re taking holiday tradition to a whole new level, and this is one you don't want to miss!
