Description
The Stuart Air Show is partnering with Southeast Florida Honor Flight to Honor Run on the Runway – a unique 5K which will be held at Martin County Airport – Witham Field.
The race coincides with the first stop of the Collings Foundation’s Annual Wings of Freedom Tour at Witham Field. The tour showcases two fully restored WWII bomber aircraft, the B-17 Flying Fortress and the B-24 Liberator, as well as a fully functional P-51 Mustang named “Betty Jane.” Runners will have the opportunity to run on the airport while these aircraft are taking off and landing!
Join us after the race at Fair Wind Air Charter for a 1940s USO themed After Party, where guests will get to have dinner with “Betty Jane!”
Register to run (includes admission to after party and dinner) or purchase a party ticket separately.

Race
along the runways at Martin County Airport – Witham Field in Stuart, FL. Race day coincides with the first stop of the
Collings Foundation’s 26th Annual Wings of Freedom Tour. Race participants will be running while
authentic WWII aircraft including the B-17 Flying Fortress, a B-24 Liberator,
and P-51 Mustang take off and land.
Chipped timed finish organized by MCM Timing.
Directions
From I-95 - Take I-95 to Exit 101 (SR-76/Kanner Highway). Continue on SR-76/Kanner Highway. Turn right onto SE Monterey Road and continue traveling on SE Monterey Road. Martin County Airport – Witham Field will be on the right.
From the Florida Turnpike – Exit the Florida Turnpike at Exit 133 (Stuart). Proceed straight onto SR-714/Martin Downs Boulevard. Continue traveling SR-714/Martin Downs Boulevard. Proceed over the bridge. SR-714/Martin Downs Boulevard becomes SE Monterey Road. Continue on SE Monterey Road. Martin County Airport – Witham Field will be on the right.
From US 1/Federal Highway- Turn East onto SE Monterey Road. Continue on SE Monterey Road. Martin County Airport – Witham Field will be on the right.
