Because of the Brave

• 5K:- Run 3.1 Miles
• 1 Mile Honor Walk:- Run 1 Mile

Join us in our 2nd annual Because of the Brave 5k or 1 mile Honor Walk as we remember & honor the Brave men and women who have served our country, especially those who have given their lives for our freedom.  We are inviting all veterans to come run our flag lined course filled with posters of appreciation along the way.  If you can't handle 3.1 miles that’s ok enjoy our 1 mile Honor Walk.  Our 1 Mile Honor Walk is to Honor those who have served and those that are currently serving.  It will be a lead course and free to 5K participants, this is a great cool down for our 5K.  Bring your children along to run as a family, every child will receive a prize for running/walking in our 5K, and a special treat bag.  Most of all we would like to say Thank you to all of our military so join us for our awards ceremony where we will honor our veterans and our race winners.  

We are also hosting a Classic Car Show!!! It will be the first annual in Poyen.  If you are interested in registering a car please email us.  Our Honor Walk Course will pass by the Classic Car Show.

100% of Proceeds will go to the Poyen Veteran's Memorial Fund
