About

This race is a fun, color filled 5K race hosted by the Cottonwood High School FBLA club. All proceeds from this race will be donated to the March of Dimes charity which funds research and education to help prevent premature births and support those who are experiencing a premature birth in their family.

Age Divisions 

This is a 5k race with 3 age divisions: 17 & Under, 18-39, and 40 & Up. Awards will be given to the fastest finishing male and female in each category.

Do I Have to Run? How old do I have to be?

The 2nd Annual Cottonwood 5k Color Run for March of Dimes is a great race for all ages and for all levels of running experience. Entrants may run or walk the race and experience the fun and excitement at 5 seperate color stations where participants will be covered in paint! (We use a food safe paint powder)

Can my children run?

Of Course! This is a race fun for all ages. Children under 5 run free!

What comes with my Race Registration Fee?

Your registration fee will include your race bib, a color run tshirt, and individual color packet for you to throw yourself! Other goodies will be included in the packet on a first registered basis, so be sure to register soon!

What to wear?

Be sure to rock your white gear to be covered and coated with all the colors at each station.  Runners are encouraged to wear their best white gear! This could be tutus, tshirts, headbands or more! Your imagination is the limit! An Award will be given for best costume!!!!

After the Race

Hang around after the race for the awards ceremony, music, and refreshments!

Deadlines and Fees:

Early Registration Deadline: 2/13/2014 at 12:00 (midnight)- Fee $30.00

Late Registration Deadline: 3/6/2014 at 12:00 (midnight)- Fee $40.00

Day of Registration: $50.00 (tshirt not guaranteed)

Day of the Race:

Run Sign in will begin at 8:00 am. Please be on time so we may begin the race promptly.
