Rise & Shine Farm 2 City 5k & Youth Fun Runs

• Youth Run:- Kids Run

Join us at the Owen County Farmers’ Market on Saturday June 6, 2015 for a 5K, youth 1 mile Fun Run, or youth Sunrise Dash. Each race will benefit the Owen County Farmers’ Market, as it provides local producers, artisans, and their neighbors a gathering place that fosters the connection between our food, culture, land, and environment.

The 5K Run / Walk is open to all ages and awards will be available to the overall top male and female runner (not eligible for age group winnings). Awards will be given to the 1stand 2nd age group male and female runner. Awards will be given to the overall top 3 male and 3 female walkers.

The Sunrise Dash is a 0.2 mile race open to youth 6 and under. Each child will get a ribbon. The Youth 1 Mile Fun Run is open to youth 12. Awards will be given to the top 3 boys and girls, along with ribbons for each race participant.

Times

Race day registration begins at 7:30am
Sunrise Dash is at 8:10am
1 Mile Fun Run is at 8:15am
5k is at 8:30am
Award ceremony following the race no later than 9:30am

5K – North on N Beem St, W on W Hillside Ave, along sidewalk of Hwy 46, to Texas Pike till turn around and return same route

Sunrise Dash – North on N Beem St to turn around at Hillside and return same route

1 Mile Fun Run – North on N Beem St, W on W Hillside Ave, turn around at Hwy 46 and return same route.

5K (adult) Run or Walk
$15 (early registration postmarked by May 23, includes shirt)
$18 (after May 23)

5K (youth 13&U)
$10 (early registration postmarked by May 23, includes shirt)
$15 (after May 23)

Sunrise Dash (youth 6&U) $6

Fun Run (youth 12&U)$6

Additional shirt $6 (available if ordered by May 23)

All 5k participants that register by May 23 will receive a t-shirt. Shirts not included in youth races.
