Shipshewana Road Run

• Shipshewana Road Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

The Shipshewana Road Run includes a 5K race and a 1 Mile Parade Fun Run for kids 13 and under.  Both races will be timed using the Webscorer ipad timing app.  Walkers are welcome. Pre- and post-race snacks will be provided for all runners.

We will kick things off at 8:15 a.m. with the Levi Jones' Centennial 5K, named in honor of Levi Jones, a life-long Shipshewana resident who celebrated his 100th birthday last November!  Immediately following the race, prizes will be awarded to the top three men and women overall and the top two in each age division.  Then at 9:55 a.m., we have a great event for the kiddos!  A 1 Mile Parade Fun Run for kids 13 and under will wind its way through town directly in front of the Mayfest Parade.  Parade watchers will be lining the streets to cheer the kids on, and there will be a special area designated for them near the end of the parade route so they can watch the parade as soon as they finish.  Prizes will be awarded to the top three boys and girls, and all kids will take home a goody bag.

Pre-registration is encouraged and will be open until midnight on April 26.  Pre-registration cost is $8 for the 1 Mile Parade Fun Run and $15 for the Levi Jones Centennial 5K.  Registration will also be available the morning of the race for $10 and $20 respectively.  Everyone who pre-registers will be guaranteed a race T-shirt.  All those who register the morning of the race will receive T-shirts while supplies last.  Registration and check-in for both races will be from 7-8 a.m.
