ORC Race Into Summer 5K

• 5K:- Run 3.1 Miles

The Orlando Runners Club welcomes all runners to participate in its 10th Annual Race Into Summer 5K. The proceeds for this event will benefit the ORC and the ORC Urayasu Exchange Program Fund. The Orlando Runners Club is a non-profit 501(C)(3) corporation.

The run will take place at Jay Blanchard Park located at 2451 N Dean Rd, 1 mile north of E. State Rd 50. The 5K race starts at 7:30 am. The course is an out and back along the paved trail in the park that runs along the Little Econ River. The Kids' Fun Run starts at 8:30 am and is free to all children. 

The race will take place at Jay Blanchard Park (2451 N. Dean Rd.), 1 mile north of E. State Rd. 50. Parking is available inside the park.

At 8:45 am, awards will be given to the top three male and female overall finishers, and three deep in each of the following age groups: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.

All 5K participants will receive a tech shirt, refreshments, and be eligible for prizes. (Must be present to win.) Shirt sizes are not guaranteed for day of race registration.

Post-race party begins at 9:30 am at Mellow Mushroom, located at 11680 E. Colonial Drive in Orlando, near the intersection of Alafaya and Colonial. All runners will get one free beverage/beer and the Club will provide pizzas.
