The Statuto is America's 4th oldest foot race. A fast out and back, the mostly flat 5 mile course starts at the San Francisco Italian Athletic Club on Washington Square Park. The course runs North from SFIAC Club Headquarters on Stockton St. to North Point to Herb Caen Way along the waterfront to Bryant St and back. There is also a two mile fun walk.
Registration includes a commemorative 95th annual event T-shirt to all entrants. For the 5 mile race, trophies will be awarded to the first overall male and female runners, and the first SFIAC member. Medals are awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place men and women starting at age 10 and under, 11 - 19 and every 10 year age category up to 80+.
Post race entertainment and prize drawings for all entrants in both the 5 mile run and 2 mile fun walk will be held in the club banquet hall. Must be present to win.
Regsister online by 5pm Monday, May 25. Registration is $30 for the 8K and $25 for the 2-mile fun run. In-person, Race Day Registration also available starting at 7:30am at the SFIAC.
