2015 NAMI Fall Classic 5K Walk/Run for Mental Illness Advocacy
The third annual NAMI Fall Classic Walk/Run for Mental Illness Advocacy will be held on Sunday, October 11, capping off national Mental Illness Awareness Week (Oct. 4-10, 2015). Registration and check-in is from 12:00-1:30 p.m. The chip-timed 5K walk/run will start at 1:30 p.m., and awards will be presented around 3:00 p.m.
Teams are welcome; register as an individual and indicate team name on your registration form. Valued virtual walkers also are welcome and can receive a shirt.
Proceeds benefit the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)-West Central Indiana, which advocates for support, effective treatment and education for individuals and families affected by mental illness in our community.

This race is held at a former golf course.
The paved trail meanders through the greens and wooded areas.
Directions
The former Lafayette Municipal Golf Course is located in McAllister Park.
The turnoff for Golfview Road and the park and golf course signs are along North 9th Street in Lafayette, Indiana.
