Come experience the 2nd Annual Color Me Green Fun Walk/Run to support the Marion County 4-H youth development program. Enjoy this five-kilometer, un-timed race around picturesque Tuscawilla Park, while being doused from head to toe in different shades of green.
Check in for this event will begin at 8:30 AM, with the race starting at 9:00AM. Early registration cost is $25.00 through July 24th. Late registration will be $35.00 until registration closes on July 31st.
Start line is in the park onto NE Sanchez Ave., to NE 2nd St., To NE 8th Ave., to NE9th St., to N Magnolia Ave., to NE 1st Ave., to NE Watula Ave., to NE 9th Ave., finish in Tuscawilla Park.
From State Road 40 and US 301/441, go east on Silver Springs Blvd., turn left on NE 8th Ave., turn right on NE 4th St., turn left onto NE 7th Ave/Sanchez Ave. Tuscawilla Park will be on the right.
It is advised to wear protective eyewear (4-H sunglasses are available for $3.00 at the race). Perhaps bring a towel and a change of clothes.
T-shirts guaranteed to the first 100 registrants, all runners will receive a runner bag with lots of goodies including a TravelSetGo complimentary one year VIP membership valued at $99 (save on hotels, cruises, and car rentals).
