Elkmont Rails to Trails 10K

• Rails to Trails 10K:- Run 6.2 Miles

The Rails to Trails 10K is a Certified course (AL06026JD).  It starts near the Elkmont Church of Christ on Upper Fort Hampton Rd. and proceeds north on Veto Rd. for approximately 3 miles before heading south on the old L&N Railroad bed and finishing in downtown Elkmont.

 2015 is the 11th Annual Rails to Trails 10K.  After 10 successful years of organizing this race, the Elkmont Lions Club has passed the baton to the Elkmont High School Cross Country/Track & Field teams.  Proceeds from this race will benefit the track and cross country programs at Elkmont High School and we look forward to carrying on the tradition of a well organized, well attended and fun race!  The 10K will start promptly at 7:00 am on Saturday, October 24, 2015!  The 1 mile fun run will start promptly at 8:30 am. 

Stick around for the Elkmont Cross Country Invitational later that morning and cheer on your favorite school or young athlete!  Starting at 10:00 am, we will have JV and Varsity races with athletes from the surrounding area!
