2015 Strut Your Mutt 5K Run/Walk - Best Friends Animal Society:

Add some excitement to your usual weekend plans with your dog, and do it for a great cause! At Strut Your Mutt, you can enjoy a leisurely community dog walk or a timed 5k run (with or without your dog), and then hang out at a festival for all things dog (and dog-lovers). This life-saving annual event, which includes doggie yoga, pet portraits, refreshments, music, contests, post-run pet massages and more, is for a great cause — ending the killing of pets in America’s shelters.

As one of 12 events happening across the country, your local Strut Your Mutt event provides a platform for local rescues and shelters to raise money for providing critical funding for lifesaving adoption, spay/ neuter programs, and more.
