Trick or Trot 5k

• Trick or Trot Glow Run 5k:- Run 3.1 Miles

This will not be your average 5K where you stand around and wait before and after the race. Before the race begins runners will have quite a few opportunities to get colored up! Zumba will be led by local instructors to help everyone warm up. We encourage everyone to come in your costume and have a great time. There will be awards for costumes handed out throughout the night in several categories. A one mile fun run will also be available for anyone who wants to get back to the party sooner.

When the Daylight goes out and the BLACK LIGHTS COME ON, a FOAM after party will be underway!!! With the area lit up in black lights we will have foam cannons shooting foam everywhere. With color powder, foam, dancing and blacklights this is sure to be an exciting night!! 

At 7:15 the 5K runners will be sent off and the one mile fun run will go approximately 5 minutes after. The 5k will be timed for those interested in competing. Runners will finish into a raving after party with DJ Ian playing chart topping hits through the night. Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd of each age group and will be held around 8:30 by the DJ.

DON'T FORGET about the family!!!

Before, during and after the run there will be a festival area with games, inflatables and face painting for kids and family to enjoy. We welcome families to participate in the foam fun, admission to that area is $5 and must be purchased in advance online, at Recreation complex or the District office.

Each participant who registers by October 21st will be guaranteed a Shirt and an AWESOME Goodie bag and entrance to the FOAM after party.

Event schedule

5:30pm - Race Day registration, Packet Pick-up, Activites start (Race day registration will only be taken if the max of 700 runners has not been reached) 

6:00pm - Color Blast followed by Zumba warm-up

6:30pm - Color Blast followed by Thriller instructional

7:00pm  - Final color blast and Zumba warm-up

7:15pm - 5K Race Starts

7:20pm - 1 Mile run run starts

8:00pm - Foam after-party begins

8:30pm - Awards

9:30pm - Party Ends
