2015 Thalberg Elementary School Family Fun Run/Walk:
The R.E.Thalberg Elementary School PTO is looking to replace the current playground to help promote increased physical activity, reduce risk of obesity, stimulate organized play, help to drive socialization, and foster positive mental and emotional health. The new playground will further help to support those students with disabilities through incorporation of different activities to drive scalability for the students today, as well as those in the future. The playground will further act as an outdoor learning classroom and cultural center.
As a Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), we thought what better way than to promote health and well being in a community walk-run event. We truly appreciate your support and know you will have fun!
100% of the net proceeds will benefit the new playground at Thalberg Elementary School.

Directions
Parking available at: Southington High School, 720 Pleasant Street, Southington, CT; Shuttle from high school to Thalberg Elementary will be provided throughout the course of the event.
*Please plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to event to accomodate shuttle and registration.
*Plenty of porto-lets available on the Thalberg property.
