2015 marks the 4th annual 5K Family event to support the NF Family Foundation. Each year our event continues to grow.  Join us this year to help learn abut NF, spread awareness, and support families.

NF Family Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 tax exempt charitable organization dedicated to promoting public awareness of neurofibromatosis and providing direct family support.  The foundation focuses its funding on continued education and direct support for NF families including travel and medical expenses.  We strive to provide a better quality of life for individuals and families living with neurofibromatosis.

What is NF?

Neurofibromatosis is a genetic neurological disorer that affects 1 in 3500.  These individuals are born with defective or in some cases no tumor supressor gene which allows tumors to grow in and on their body virtually unchecked by their system.  This leads to pain, learning disabilities, blindness, deafness, epilepsy, disfigurement, cancer and death.  There is no cure and no overall treatments.  For more inormation on neurofibromatosis visit  http://www.nffamilyfoundation.org/what-is-neurofibromatosis.html

Parking - $10.00  Check back for confirmation of parking Waiver which will allow the first                             100 registrants free paking.
