Description


Run for the Health of It is an annual fundraiser that is put on by the Idaho State University College of Pharmacy students in an effort to fund our student-run patient outreach projects which consist of numerous operations that provide complementary health screenings and care to the community within the sate of Idaho. Our services include:


  • Administering immunizations
  • Lipid/cholesterol screening
  • Blood pressure screening
  • Diabetes education and screening
  • Heart disease education
  • Medication education
  • Community health fairs
  • Poison prevention education
  • Prescription abuse awareness education

In addition, at least 25% of the proceeds from the Fun Run will be donated to Hodia: Idaho Diabetes Youth Programs.

Course Info


The 2015 Run for the Health of it will be held at Ann Morrison Park located on the Boise River in Boise, Idaho. The starting line is at the shelter.
